BEST OF BALINESE FOOD - SATE LILIT - TWISTED FISH

Have you ever taste this food? This is Sate Lilit from Bali. The taste is so good. This is made from fish and shrimp. Usually served with boiled leafy vegetable and some chilly sauce. The sauce is called Sambal Matah.

If you are curious, come to Bali and do not miss this. You can also try to make it at home. I will share you the receipt.

Ingredients :
  • 500 gr Tenggiri Fish
  • 200 gr Shrimp
  • 65 ml coconut milk
  • The sticks
  • 10 ml Coocking oil
Puree Ingredients:
  • 8 Red Onions
  • 4 Garlic
  • 5 Red Chilli Paper
  • 1 cm Ginger
  • 1 cm turmeric
  • 1 cm Galangal
  • 6 Candlenut
  • 3 cm Lemongrass
  • 3 pices lime leafs
  • 20gr Salt
  • 10 gr Sugar


How to Make: 
  1.  Puree the Fish and The Shrimp without the shrimp cell
  2.  Mix the puree ingredients and the puree fish and shrimp
  3. Add the coconut milk
  4. Take some mixture, twist it to the stick. Until finish
  5. Grill the twisted mixture, add some cooking oil
  6. Smells good? Its time to serve it...
